Where are you Christmas? Why can't I find you? Why have you gone away? My world is changing I'm rearranging Does that means Christmas changes, too? Where are you, Christmas? Don't you remember The one you used to know? You and I were so carefree Now nothing's easy Does Christmas change, or just me?

The snow's coming down I'm watchin' it fall Lots of people around Baby, please come home (please come home) The church bells in town Are ringing in song Full of happy sounds Baby, please come home (please come home) They're singing Deck The Halls But it's not like Christmas at all I remember when you were here And all the fun that we had last year Pretty lights on the tree I'm watching them shine You should be here with me Baby, please come home (Silent night, holy night) They're singing Deck The Halls But it's not like Christmas at all I remember when you were here And all the fun we had last year If there was a way I'd hold back these tears But it's Christmas day Baby, please come home (Silent night, holy night All is calm, all is bright) Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas

I'll be home for Christmas You can count on me Please have snow and mistletoe And presents on the tree Christmas eve will find me Where the love light gleams I'll be home for Christmas If only in my dreams I'll be home for Christmas You can plan on me Please have some snow and mistletoe And presents on the tree Christmas Eve will find me Where the love light gleams I'll be home for Christmas If only in my dreams I'll be home for Christmas If only in my dreams

Christmastime is here Happiness and cheer Fun for all that children call Their favorite time of the year Snowflakes in the air Carols everywhere Olden times and ancient rhymes Of love and dreams to share Sleigh bells in the air Beauty everywhere Yuletide by the fireside And joyful memories there Christmastime is here We'll be drawing near Oh, that we could always see Such spirit through the year Sleigh bells in the air Beauty everywhere Yuletide by the fireside And joyful memories there Christmastime is here We'll be drawing near Oh, that we could always see Such spirit through the year

about

So many holiday songs are reflections on hard times, and expressions of hope. I put this album together to recognize this with friends, family, and colleagues as we reflect on 2020.

I have been dreaming of making a cello holiday album for years. The cello is perfect for capturing introspection and solemn contemplation. It took this helluva year and the support and enthusiasm of dear friends for me to finally do it. Grateful to the fantastic friends old and new who contributed their talents as guest features.
